National Flag of IndiaThe National Flag of India is a horizontal rectangular Tri Colour of Saffron, White and Green with Ashok Chakra (Navy blue wheel with twenty-four spokes) in the middle. National Flag of India designed by Pingali Venkayya
National Emblem of IndiaNational Emblem of India is an adaptation of the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar at Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh on 26 January 1950.
The four lions stand on a short cylindrical base that has four Ashok Chakras corresponding to each lion bust and reliefs of four more animals in between them – the lion, the bull, the elephant and the galloping horse.
In the 2D form of the National Emblem, only 3 Lions standing on the Ashok Chakra is visible in the front with the galloping horse on the left and the bull on the right of it.
Motto: "Satyameva jayate" (Truth Alone Triumphs), a quote taken from Mundaka Upanishad inscribed below the abacus in Devanagari script.
National Anthem of India‘Jana Gana Mana’ is the national anthem of India, Written in Bengali by Rabindranath Tagore in 1911. It was adopted in its Hindi version as the National Anthem of India by the Constituent Assembly on 24 January 1950. The official duration of Jana Gana Mana is 52 seconds.
National Song of India‘Vande Mataram’ is a poem composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1870s, adopted as National Song on 24 January 1950.
National Currency of IndiaThe Indian rupee symbol is designed by D Udaya Kumar, derived from the Devanagari consonant "र" (ra) and the Latin letter "R" was adopted in 2010
Oath of allegianceThe Indian national pledge was originally composed in Telugu language by writer Pydimarri Venkata Subba Rao in 1962. The Central Advisory Board on Education directed that the pledge to be read in schools and that this practice to be introduced by 26 January 1965.
