 1-Bureau of Police Research and Development celebrated its Golden Jubilee Anniversary on 28th August, 2020.

2-The Central government's flagship financial inclusion programme Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) has completed six years. 

केन्‍द्र सरकार के प्रमुख वित्तीय समावेशन कार्यक्रम प्रधानमंत्री जनधन योजना के छह वर्ष पूरे हो गए हैं।

3-The defence ministry has taken an in-principle decision to host the next edition of Aero India in Bengaluru from February 3-5 next year notwithstanding the coronavirus pandemic. 

रक्षा मंत्रालय ने एयरो इंडिया का अगला सत्र कोरोना वायरस महामारी के बावजूद अगले वर्ष बेंगलुरु में 3 से 5 फरवरी के बीच आयोजित करने का सैद्धांतिक निर्णय लिया है।

4-Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' inaugurated Examination Centre of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University through a video conferencing platform.

भारतीय प्रतिस्पर्धा आयोग ने कम्फर्ट इन्वेस्टमेंट्स II द्वारा नेक्सट्रा डेटा लिमिटेड के अनिवार्य रूप से परिवर्तनीय वरीयता शेयरों और इक्विटी के प्रस्तावित अधिग्रहण को मंजूरी दे दी है।

6-Indian Railways is set to meet all it's energy needs of more than 33 billion units by 2030.

7-ICICI Bank has sold 2 per cent stake in its subsidiary firm ICICI Securities Ltd (I-Sec) through an open market transaction for Rs 310 crore. 

आईसीआईसीआई बैंक ने अपनी सहायक कंपनी आईसीआईसीआई सिक्योरिटीज लिमिटेड (आई-सेक) की दो फीसदी हिस्सेदारी 310 करोड़ रुपये में खुले बाजार के जरिये बेच दी है।

8-The nomination of the first Black woman Fabiana Pierre-Louis to sit on New Jersey's Supreme Court was confirmed by the state Senate. 

न्यू जर्सी राज्य की सीनेट ने पहली अश्वेत महिला फेबियाना पियरे-लुई को उच्चतम न्यायालय में बतौर न्यायाधीश नामित किए जाने की पुष्टि की।

9-Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan, tennis’s most successful doubles pair, have announced retirement, effective immediately.

10-For the first time, China has fired its "aircraft-carrier killer" missile into the South China Sea as part of the naval drills being carried out by the military in the disputed region amid aerial reconnaissance by US spy planes. 

चीन ने पहली बार दक्षिण चीन सागर में अपनी ‘विमानवाहक पोत रोधी’ मिसाइल दागी है, अमेरिकी टोही विमानों की निगरानी के बीच विवादित क्षेत्र में नौसैनिक अभ्यास के तहत ये मिसाइल दागी गयी है।
